the last couple of days my S23 has stopped fast charging. fast charging and super fast charging is enabled in the settings and the charger is not damaged. has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

I use the charger that came with my old s20 and have also tried using my mac book charger and that also no longer fast charges my phone.

hey, I have an s22 and I use the Samsung official 45w charger to charge my device, although it doesn't support super fast 2.0 I use it for my phone and tablet, maybe try that? I hope your issue is resolved 🙂

I use the official charger that came with my old s20. I'm not sure if it was a 45w charger but when plugged in on the lock screen it would say "super fast charging" and now only says "charging" and charges much slower

you could maybe invest in an anker charging block or maybe test a friend or family's fast charger or super fast charger to see if that's the issue

Hello @Sami_J

I use the data cable that came with my Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra phone as this is needed to allow fast charging.

Not all data cables provide fast charging to give this function.

I then use my various Samsung Wireless Charging pads and stands that have fast charging built in.

I also use the 45w charging brick and data cabke that came with it when I'm travelling.

When fast charging is toggled on in my phone's settings then fast charging works.

I can only think the cable and or charging brick is at issue here and or check in your phone charging port with a torch to ensure there is no build up of debris.

You can send feedback via your Samsung Members App and them await a reply.

And a Samsung Service Centre can assess the phone and Samsung Cable and charging brick.

If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate. Take care.  😎

I use WiFi (or no wires needed) a Samsung USB plug, fast cable and 2 magnetic adapters. Means it's charger can be moved without discoecting anything.

Are you using a different cable? Sometimes, something as simple as this can be the cause.
