I've just upgraded my phone from the galaxy S9 to S23 and I was looking forward to taking some quality photos due to the S23's supposedly superior camera. To say I am disappointed with it is an understatement. The photos are not good quality. I've spent hours going through the settings and searching for answers on the Internet. Before I return the phone to the shop does anyone have any suggestions? Thank you.

Thank you for posting on this forum, if you need more support, there are plenty of people here who know alot about phones.

I only found this forum by messing around with my settings, but I'm so glad I have. If I have any problems in the future it will save me trawling the Internet. It's good to be able to connect with people.

Full agree, S9 does much much better picture quality comparing to S23.

Thank you for your reply. No I'm not really impressed with the camera quality of the S23. I really did think it would be much better than it is.

post processing (when refining option shows up in notification)is making images captured through s23 camera ugly. I request samsung to fix this ASAP. I looked for this problem in many forums many have reported this issue but no solution is provided till now by Samsung. Some say when they contacted Samsung they asked to change some camera settings but nothing works. We should be getting pictures as we seeing them on screen but s23s camera heavily processes them after capturing and make them a blurry yellowish mess. Samsung please fix this
