Phone Switch Nightmare!

Since the introduction of no memory card phones, switching my video and photo artwork and editing projects has become a real nightmare! SmartSwitch (phone to phone) can't cope and my PC crashes out. It was all so much easier with memory cards.

Any ideas from the community please? I have not switched to my new S23 Ultra due to this issue!

Totally appreciate your viewpoint on this and I understand the switching methods available are not a suit all needs affair @Sugary1 

I use Samsung Cloud for most of my information and Dropbox.

I only use Smart Switch for my Gallery.

There might be apps or software available to achieve better what you need however as I dont use any I'm unable to personally recommend some.

If your previous device a was a Galaxy, then connect USB between both device and Smart Switch will transfer everything.

Ensure the previous device has the Memory Card inserted and the S23 Ultra will receive all.

I have 2 external type C-USB sticks (a 128 & a 256gb) from Samsung. I didn't bother copying any of my media when I switched phones, just moved it on to them instead. Same with backups. They're really fast & reliable (I sound like an ad) but my switches and backups just took ages otherwise, and my issue is just a vast music library. I agree though- why they all stopped expandable storage I'll never know (surely not to make you buy the more expensive phones.. )
