Persistent Notification - One UI 6.0

After the One UI 6.0 update persistent notifications are no longer persistent. Am I missing something?

The persistent icons in the notification bar are disappearing/reappearing and the notifications can be swiped away.

Which ones were persistent and now are not?

All of them. Any which were previously persistent are not any longer. For myself these include my VPN connection, Samsung health, and my weather app.

Yes, it seems we can now swipe any of them away. Good to know

Not sure if it's a feature or a bug. I like some of my persistent notifications. You'd think if it was a feature though they'd be an option to disable it.

I re rooted my s 23 ultra to back to 13 ui 5.1 I didn't like 14 ui 6.0 at all its too like a iPhone like android 14 ui 6.0 is disgusting id have a iPhone if I was this!!! AVOID 14 UI 6.0 THIS WAS NOT TESTED LONG ENOGH TO BE RELEASED..

Same problem. Maybe because Google changed the user experience with non-dismissible notifications:
