I've had it for a few minutes and already hate it, it's laggier and it reduces video and camera quality

Hm, not on my end—nor many others (as the forums would be packed)—any before/after update camera pics? That part doesn't make much sense unless you mean you dislike the AI optimization? Which can be reduced in camera settings.

Have you attempted any troubleshooting methods?

It is what it is, considering your back market purchase

A few minutes !!

Give it a few days already. It takes time for everything to optimise. Have you checked there are any updates to the google store apps ? Galaxy store ? Let the battery and optimising complete ?

This is a major android update change so it takes a few days to complete fully. See how it is after then.

Going through your posts, it seems you've had a lot of issues that aren't normal. Was this phone refurbished?

I'm seeing comments about Backmarket. Your posts seem to show results that are absolutely not normal for a Samsung phone. Buying a non-refurbished phone is the rule for expecting flawlessness.

When I got this 0hone it came in the original box and had no marks or anything. It even had plastic on the sides from where it hadn't been opened so I'm quite sure it was brand new

My friend has a brand new A55 and he has plenty of issues. Everyone here seems to ignore people when they have issues

Was the reason you got it from Backmarket because it was cheaper? Honestly, it may have been new, but I have doubts… nothing is given cheaper for nothing.

Look through my account—my intent is not to ignore. Im blunt, but Im honest in what I believe *which is far from fact every time- but I do have experienced and informative. To be sure of a few things:

* Cleared cache partition
* Gone to Google Play—all apps up to date?
* Gone to Samsung store—up to date?
* Members app—support—diagnostics all good?
* Booted phone into safe mode?
* Backed up phone via SmartThings to a PC—factory reset.

Brand new A54 with issues such as? The A series is budget, so if the issue is "slow," then… but also, if not working as it should—return/warranty.

Going through your posts- I woudve returned it back to backmarket/ or while it was still in warranty got it looked at
