One UI update sucks

I dread every Samsung update, knowing it's going to break my phone in new ways, and this one was no exception. I can't get notifications to show anymore, apps I use for work crashing repeatedly, the Samsung themes I've paid for don't work anymore. I end up rotating my screen every time I try to turn on my flashlight now. And the emotes are *hideous* now, I'm so glad I have custom emotes in discord to use instead. 

I'm looking at a Pixel for next upgrade because I'm tired of every Samsung upgrade in fact being a downgrade.

My husband and myself both have samsungs, but I'm considering never again (even though I've had samsung for years). The one ui is awful. Our phones keep turning themselves off and on again. The touch screen is shocking, the camera doesn't work all the time, and won't let you focus the picture. My husband has had to do numerous factory resets. Just awful, and samsung don't even seem bothered enough to get it sorted. Awful awful awful

Thisbis the first one I've experienced that totally screwed my UI experience. I had 1 phone, like 10 yrs ago - I know they've gont to the single button whatever - can't work those phones. & Now as of yesterday I can't figure outnthe functionality if whatever garbage nav. bar system thenforce me to implement. I was so screwed I just had to get an app that allows a floating one...long story short - I'd have not updated if I knew I couldn't figure out how tonuse my nav bar buttons, or rather, swipes? 

I've read it all & in practice with my zfold4, it's inoperable

the updates should make  the phone easier to use not  less convenient!!! Nearly every forced update the configuration gets WORSE.  Now the voice text microphone is located at the bottom corner of the phone and NONSENSE is in the bar where it used to be!!!

I'm also having issues with the last update.  My S21+ battery won't make it a day anymore, and my watch 3 titanium is essentially bricked now as the battery only lasts a few hours and the heart monitor has stopped working entirely.  Everything was working perfectly until the last update went out.  And factory resets have done nothing to alleviate.

This is the last time I spend money on a Samsung product.  I took care of my devices, to have a $600 watch bricked by bad software update just a few years later is absurd and entirely unacceptable.

I don't follow all this update ***** simply because I hate my mobile phone (phones in general). However, since a weekend update that I tried to avoid, the messaging is in ***** retarded Reader's Digest senior citizen font. HOW can I change back to a more legible and smaller font?

Hi @PDOFF USER , Try Settings > Display > Font and style.

Might be worth looking in Settings > Accessibility > Vision Enhancements to check all's as it you'd like it to be there too.

If that's not what you're looking for, can you share more info about which messaging app or theme you're using as there may be something in those settings we can point towards.
