The last couple of weeks my phone is unusable, I need to take a battery pack out with me .

I have an s23 ultra and when I check the battery it shows One UI home is currently using 99.5&

Tried wiping my cache, looking for any updates and don't know what to do

Hello @Brettred and may I extend a Warm Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum 👋

I can appreciate how frustrating this must be especially if your having to take out a powerbank all the time.

Do please look at @Tourbillon De La Vie link 👍just to ensure your clearing the phone's System Partition Cache Files Section in full.

There is also an optimisation tool found in your Device Care that'll show any heavy battery use.

Also try a Hard reboot > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/my-galaxy-smartphone-has-frozen-how-do-i-restart-i...

You could try Settings > Apps > One Ui Home > Location  > Clear Cache.

There is a clear data there too but this may reset your home screen screen etc.

You can send feedback via your Samsung Members App.

Hopefully a back up and factory reset isn't required.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
