One ui 6 impressed and disappointed

I've been on the beta programme throughout the testing phase and have been active in reporting bugs through the members app.

Now let me start off by saying that I am so so impressed with what samsung have done this time around. The os feels very smooth for the most part. The new animations are so much better, and just how quickly Samsung have released android 14 behind pixel is fantastic.

The one thing that has disappointed me though which I see being reported all over the Internet and one which I personally have reported is the broken widget animation... This has been a well reporter and well known bug for the last few beta versions and yet samsung have released the "stable" version with this still broken.

I know it's just an animation and I hope they fix it with a hotfix soon but I just think this should have been ironed out before rolling out this final version to the masses.

But to end on a positive, very well done samsung for such an active beta phase and the huge improvements you have made overall. This is a much better experience.

Hi, is there much more features than the beta releases in the stable version?

Animations are a key part of the user experience. You can have a great phone with excellent speeds, but if the animations are janky then it kinda ruins the experience a little.

I do feel the animations on One UI 6 are not as good as 5.1, but that's personal opinion.

I don't think they'll fix the widget animation thing. I suspect they either don't know what the 'broken widget animation' reports pertain to, as it's quite hard to convey, or this is now classed as intended behaviour.
