One ui 6.1 hate it

Just updated it on my S23 ultra and preferred what I had. I've read others opinions who ain't happy. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the notifications colours on AOD which is not coloured anymore. Yes, it's a big deal! Step backwards! Why change it? It's rubbish and I know someone will say it looks cleaner but come on, it'll always look better with colours. Give us the option like you were forced to on the S24 models when plenty complained. And really hate the navigation bar. I prefer mine with nothing on the screen and that wonderful option is gone. Why fffffffs..?

I have managed to return the behaviour to how it was using the apps detailed above in a YouTube video. These are not third party apps. These appear to be apps that control options that appear in the main settings! It's a round about the houses and 200mb download just to return the device to the way it was.

I'm angry about having to do this. =[

They absolutely ruined the navigation bar. Took three steps back but made sure to add AI ... What are you doing samsung? S23 ultra will be my LAST Samsung device. No one asked for AI to be embedded in my software, and the navigation swipe gestures being messed with. You really hit a peeve here. Im at the point i want to destroy this phone right now. I will be going to apple next month.  These decisions were asinine.

For some reason I've always stayed away from apple. Never given it a chance even though I know I'll probably like it. My friend has the 15 pro max and it's awesome have to say. I hate the dynamic island notch though. Don't like the way Samsung copy apple with the plus models. And like you, hate these terrible updates. Also I've never paid full price for a Samsung phone since the wonderful S105g from 2019. Using an S23 ultra now. Only paid £500 for it. Regarding ai, I really don't need it. Haven't used any of it since update. It's not a massive selling point for me and will never pay for any of it! Apple users seem to go through a lot less headache. I'll never buy the S24 ultra as it's the same as the S23 ultra. Don't care what anyone says about that. I was actually about to go for the one plus 12 ultra but ended up with S23 ultra as I found one very cheap. Really miss the S10 era...

I don't get it, why change something that works for others, you can add features just leave the old ones alone especially the Navigation Bar.

Why remove the 3 navigation buttons below, just keep it as an option. I swear, I've had this option on since it came out on my S9, then on my S23, it looks good and feels go to use. Now we have an iphone button in the middle, and every time I try to swipe with max sensitivity, btw, I can't because the phone case is in the way and it's an uncomfortable plus it's a slow gesture compared to the previous one. 

It was not even a bad decision, some people may like this new one, but it was an unnecessary one to remove the previous option, please bring back.

I gave back S24 + because of exynos trash and some faults I experienced. Also hated the fact that it was an iPhone with Samsung written on it. They started off with the charger and now this bullcr*p. Why they keep copying iPhone is beyond me. Sick of it! Only trademark phone they have is the ultra phone which I'm using. This navigation bar is destined for horrible screen burn. Horrendous and scandalous Samsung trash 🗑

I just got my update today on my S22 Ultra and I have the same complaints as OP. I hate not having colors and I've been very frustrated not having the gesture option I used for my home, back, and recent apps anymore. Lucky good lock had something in one hand operation+ to help me get use to how it is now. Got really mad not being to use back gesture.

I agree, everything that changed with the always on display is *****. Used to be able to change everything, clock style, colours, images, just in settings, now you have to download all this other stuff. I used to have a double clock on my always on display for two different cities, now the only way for me to do that is to use Lockstar, which only lets me have 3 clocks, two for the same location. Change it back to the way it was, this is stupid.
