One ui 6.1 hate it

Just updated it on my S23 ultra and preferred what I had. I've read others opinions who ain't happy. One thing that hasn't been mentioned is the notifications colours on AOD which is not coloured anymore. Yes, it's a big deal! Step backwards! Why change it? It's rubbish and I know someone will say it looks cleaner but come on, it'll always look better with colours. Give us the option like you were forced to on the S24 models when plenty complained. And really hate the navigation bar. I prefer mine with nothing on the screen and that wonderful option is gone. Why fffffffs..?

First thing I noticed was the color on the AOD notifications were all white on a black screen and the clock was dimmed. Please give us what we want back Samsung, it's the little things in life that matter to most of us.

Each major update they seem to strip back and remove things they many users love. The AOD has been losing features for years now and is a far cry from the suite of customisation we had in 2016 when it was introduced on the S7.

I'm hating every One UI update more each time.

What really puzzles me is why Samsung is making such changes. Do they not have proper testers to utilize a release for a week and see how those changes/new features actually work in daily life? I love Samsung, but God forgive me I hate them for some of their decisions. And I hate companies that "think whats best" for me. I love doing that for myself!

I hate what has happened to gesture navigation.

The gesture navigation helper bar is terrible. And it gets bigger when typing.

I absolutely hate the animation between apps as well now and I have them cut down to 0.5s.

This is the second time Samsung have broken the precious pixel real estate at the bottom of the screen.

Unbelievable really what they do over there. What possesses them to do this ***** is beyond me. They've been downgrading specs and hardware since the S10/20 series. That's why I never pay full price anymore for their phones. Paid £500 for my S23 ultra 12g 512g. Stupid company I tell ya. All about profits! Even if we get an update, they'll try to make us think that they're doing us proud...
