I have notice over several weeks the object eraser is not working very well. It's still leaving shallow of the object that I have wanted to erase. I have have tried ito remove the object several times and still not working. When I use Google magic eraser it is working perfectly.

I presume you tried a couple of times at least with slightly different selections to change the parameters to see if that improved the results.

There is an improved AI version of the eraser in OneUI 8 supposedly. I would suspect you may get access to the cloud feature when the update comes to your phone later this year. Obviously, I don't know for certain as some features are sometimes reserved for newer model versions. I would be surprised if this was though to prevent running unnecessary extra models on their servers.

Thank you for your response. Yes I tried several times but the same result. I have contacted Samsung support and they have thanked me for making them aware of the object eraser problem.

UI8 has made me ditch the usual edit, object Eraser in preference of the AI version, it fills in the gaps and leaves no tell tale signs behind, except the AI logo 😂
