I have just received a text message from the Three network, saying they are updating all their 3G masts to 4G/5G and that I don't have a phone that's compatible, went on their help section regarding turning volte on and I don't have those settings anywhere.

You'll definitely have the option on S23 series

Make sure you have 5g/4g/3g/2g (auto connect) selected.

That solves your question.

Note that 4g may also be called LTE

Try making a call and see if your phone stays on 4G that means VoLTE is enabled by default not all networks allows you to toggle VoLTE on and on I have an EE and Vodafone sim in my phone and only EE will allow me to toggle VoLTE on and off but VoLTE is active on Vodafone it just won't let me toggle it

If your phone is compatible eg S23 etc It could be your SIM card that needs updating you could check with your mobile operator to ensure you have a 4g/5g SIM

I'm on Voxi (Vodafone) and the volte option doesn't appear at all.
I'm assured by them it's working though.
