Please add this function on your mobile phone

Many phones have this feature, even the iPhone, please consider and build it in the near future

The convenience of being able to just use your ring to program as your security card, car door and ignition access.  THAT would be awesome!

In fact, the Chinese region Samsung Pay already had exactly what you want for YEARS (which is also a very common and basic feature of any Chinese brand phone or even watch)

I just don't understand why Samsung won't allow other region to enjoy the same basic function, and they even removed the feature that allows add your own custom reward barcode as a card, unbelievable.

I live in Brazil. I work in a large hospital and I have to open several doors with a mifare classic 1k card. I would really like to emulate my card with my cell phone or galaxywatch 6. I would really like this feature here. I saw that the Xiaomi bracelet does this.

Interesting to see some discussions about this, my S21 bought in EU did not work to emulate my university facility entrance card in Germany, either my Mi/Oppo purchased from China even both are intergrated with "NFC Key" app, always saying "failed because the nfc card is encrypted or part of the blocks are died". My final solution was using a huawei M30p. It reads and emulates the campus card, then I use a huawei watch to transfer the nfc dump data from M30p phone, after I managed to read and copy the card data from the watch without encrypt problem, I don't understand the knowledge behind but it works. It is true that most china version phones have nfc door key function, which I dont see in EU version phones, probably you gotta root the phone first. but at the end of the day there are always some alter ways like a ring with coil or simply a coil under skin.:) Might went too far, good luck to all.

the phone saying that because it is true, the card IS encrypted, the common solution is to get a pn532 board to dump the tag first, then write it to an empty cuid card without encrpytion, then add to the phone with the tag

The main problem is, most of all recent Android phones let TEE handles the NFC hardware instead of expose it with standard Android API, and they don't offer public TEE API either (or not to a useful level for card emu.), so there is NO WAY for a third party developer to build an app could offer card emulation.

However, many Android phones offer card emu, so, samsung, the biggest android phone maker, should at least support that
