My samsung line up

I thought now I have had my products a little while I would write about the good and bad about them all. 

S23 ultra 

The good 

Fluid bright and sharp screen

Excellent battery life and performance

Snap dragon finally! 

Haptics match iPhone 

Love the boxy design it's a nice change 

The s pen very handy to have 

No bugs at all that I can find

Cameras are amazing 

The bad 

Gorilla glass victus 2 is not all the hype. Had the phone 3 weeks and I already have 3 scratches, never been an issue in the past it's so frustrating

It's slippery as hell 

Galaxy watch 5 pro 

The good 

Stunning design 

Bright clear display 

Great strap 

Great battery life.

Good customisation and watch faces 

Reasonable app support 

The bad 

Aod is too dim 

LTE function has not always played ball but is getting better as weeks go by

Performance is not the best I do find sometimes it stutters 

Buds pro 2 

The good 

Comfy 

Great bass 

Good sound in general 

Anc and pass through are good 

Great for calls

The bad 

Itching my ears (this always happens at the beginning) 

The treble is not great on these it can be very harsh and hissy 

Galaxy tab s7

The good

Losing support for android 14 this year which is a major bummer as it has a snap dragon 865 which is more than capable so no excuse really.

So how they compared to my apple line up which was 14 pro max airpods pro 2 apple watch series 7 and ipad mini. 

I will say the s23 ultra beats the iPhone 14 pro max the camera is just amazing. Much nicer design. However the iPhone pulls through with durability as I am shocked my ultra has these 3 scratches from absolutely nowhere. The ultra has NO bugs whatsoever that i can find. The iPhone was a buggy mess.

Got to be honest the air pod pro 2 are better than galaxy buds pro 2. The sound is more balanced on the airpods. The buds give you much more bass but again that treble does not sound great.

The watches are a draw. The apple watch is much faster and brighter aod. But the Samsung watch has much better battery much more customisation and looks nicer.

Tablets I got to admit samsung wins. For the same price as the mini I got 120hz bigger screen bigger battery and I do find apps are better suited to the tab. Only reason it falls flat on its backside at the end is due to poor support but I believe samsungs newer tabs will get better support. 

So there you have it i do prefer my samsung kit to my apple kit but upon having it nearly a month I have found some small niggles but they are very small samsung has come a long away. Safe to say I will be staying put now i just hope that samsung starts putting the factory fitted screen protectors back on its phones as the glass just isn't up to scratch quite literally 🤣

Great read @AshtabS9Ultra , I must say I'm very happy with my purchases. Will agree with you on tab s7+. Mine still runs perfect, still looks new out the box. Just may upgrade due to software support, no android 14 👎. As for marks, hate them lol, must be frustrating. Any new phone, before I use it, case screen protector on just to avoid. Only mark so far from the 10th Feb, top of s pen. I do believe it's just bad luck. My daughter set her iPhone 14 Pro max up, before installing the screen protector, which she got me to apply. Guess what, she had already marked the screen some how. No idea how, but the mark is there.

Ah OK maybe it was just bad luck then. Will see what it's like when it's time to upgrade to the next ultra. Will probably just find the orginal 3 scratches 🤣 just got to embrace them and get on with it now. Tried a screen protetor but was ripped off in mins due to a spec of dust 🤣 Only thing about tabs now though, OLED = ultra = massive = 💰 🤣

I choose to fit a screen protector to help stop the microscratches that can appear in the oleophobic coating on the phone's screen.

I agree with your good points in regards to the Samsung Galaxy s²³ Ultra  👍

And the reason I choose to use the Samsung Official Leather Black Case is because they are most definitely slippery !!

I much prefer the new design in regards to the curved edges on the s²³ Ultra. A little flatter. 

That said I'm not exactly unhappy with the versions of curved edges on my Samsung Galaxy s²² Ultra which is my back up phone. 

I also find no issues with the Exynos soc too. It's a solid phone but I do find the s²³ Ultra a more polished product. Not to mention the 200mp camera option. 

I also own the Samsung Gear s³ Frontier Watch which is still going strong and gives me around 2-3 days usage.

I also own the Samsung Galaxy ⁴ Watch Classic. I must admit I prefer the version of software on this watch to the Frontier Watch.

I prefer the physical rotating bezel on my watches.

I have a Samsung Tablet a6 which I've had a few years but haven't upgraded as I've used it less and less over the years.

I also use a

Samsung Smart Tag.

Samsung 70" TV.

Samsung Soundbar system.

Samsung Z Fold³ which I recently traded in.

Various Samsung Wireless Stand and Pad charging units.

I own a MacBook Air.

And an Apple iPad which my partner uses. Can't remember which generation but it's a recent model.

edit > It's a 7th Generation ipad.

My last iPhone was the iPhone 6 Plus.

I moved to Samsung due to the innovative technologies and products the company uses as well as customisation options and the quality of workmanship and materials. 

I also prefer Samsungs eco-System.

Thanks for sharing that. I have been on and off with Sammy and apple. My last Samsung was an s21 regular was a very good phone but just wasn't a fan of the plastic back and it developed a fault. I then had an iPhone 13 followed by a 14 plus followed by a 14 Pro max which I only had a few weeks. I must say samsung does it better, much better software and features and of course the cameras. The iPhone still a very good phone but you get so much more for your money. For £950 I got an ultra 512gb, galaxy buds pro 2. Wireless charger with 25 w brick and a 45 w brick with cable. This is obviously with offers. Apple doesn't do offers so for £1250 which is reduced slightly I got 1 apple iPhone 14 Pro max 256gb 🤔 I mean the proof is in the pudding Sammy gives you much much more

I don't think so at all. The ultra is a great a phone. Apple still very buggy. And an update on durability it hasn't got any worse so probably just me.
