For some reason my phone changes the notification volume to zero every day, I was wondering if there is a fix?
I've set it to the volume I want then turned the phone off and on again . But the next day it just re-sets itself back to zero.
Any assistance or guidance will be appreciated.
Thanks

@Braudy: It is possible that you have Do not disturb scheduled to activate at a certain time each day. To check, please head to Settings > Notifications > Do not disturb > Schedule. If the switch to the right is toggled on, and highlighted, toggle it off so it greys out. Let me know if this helps.

@AndrewL , my problem is similar to this: I have my device set to "Do Not Disturb" during my sleep hours. When that period ends, everything comes back EXCEPT my notification volume. It remains at zero even after my phone returns to normal mode, and I have to readjust it manually every morning. Is there a way to stop this from happening? Everything else returns to normal when DND ends, so why should notification volume stay at zero?

I have the exact same problem, is there a solution? It is pretty annoying.

Sure wish you could supply an answer other than making sure do not disturb is not on...if other users are having this problem, IT IS A PROBLEM!

Hi,
Exactly the same problem, but with my system sounds. It's really seems to be a bug.

It does not help me. I NEVER use DND. I checked it anyway. Still no.
I'm not sure that my version of the issue is EVERY day. It seems random to me. Sometimes more than daily.
It is really annoying. I keep missing important time-sensitive texts and reminders. (not-urgent...because those things tend not to get left to the randomness of technology, thankfully).

I NEVER use DND. I checked it anyway. Still no volume...frequently, albeit possibly more random than daily. When I notice it and manually fix it, it often happens again a few hours(?) later.
