Mode Activations

I have two modes set up. The Sleep mode which activates 22:00-07:00 and turns on Do Not Disturb.

The second is a mode that activates using GPS when I arrive home and turns on a smart plug.

Both work. However, the second mode activates when the Sleep mode turns itself off. Even through the Location services stay on overnight, it seems to trigger the second mode and turns on the smart plug at 07:00.

Please advise how I can stop this. I only want the second mode to activate when I arrive back home, not when I wake up.

Bixby routines are not supposed for "cross routines". If you want to set the same setting by two conditions you have to create only one action with very complex condition or use Tasker which is what I recomend you. Tasker can create two profiles, each sets a boolean variable and third profile handles this variable. You can handle very complex situations with Tasker.

Would making the second one a straight 'routine' and not a 'mode' help?

Thanks for replies... I've deleted the Sleep Mode and made a Sleep Routine that is similiar to the Sleep Mode...it now does not trigger the second Mode when the Sleep Routine finishes..

I'm glad that worked. I've got a couple of routines that overlap but the phone usually seems to figure out which one should take priority. It would seem that overlapping 'modes' might be trickier.

Maybe instead of GPS just do the time when you want the smart plug to come on.

I actually have the Mode linked to a plug with an internet radio..Linking it to GPS allows the radio to automatically turn itself off and on as I leave home and arrive back....until I made the Sleep a Routine it had been turning the radio on when the sleep mode stopped...it all works well now.
