Long term to active charge?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone experience the long last period of time to start the charging battery cycle? 

On my week old S23 Ultra is taking sometimes up to 20 minutes to start

This usually if you drain your battery to dead, you can click on the the power button until it powers up if you see 1%

Right I thought to minimise the risk on cycle needed to drain up to zero then put for charge

For my s22 ultra it happens if I drain the battery till it dies and then I plug the non official charger, but if I use the official charger then it turns on straight away with no delay

It is not good for the battery to drain it totally, you should keep it above 20 percent and you won't have that problem

I have read somewhere that it's best to keep battery above 15%

I suspect you are using a weak charger that doesn't fast charge your phone? Are you using the original cable that came with your phone? Do you have fast charging switched off in settings?

Yes, original charger from Samsung and so, the cable

So I would check your settings and check if you have fast charging switched off and which charging mode it is in. My S23 Ultra never takes more than a few seconds to start charging from completely dead. I use new original Samsung charger and cable, if you use an old Samsung charger that might also not be powerful enough
