First look in your device Care under battery to see what apps are using your battery.
If one or more are high then you can either put them into the sleep or deep sleep section and or look at their preferences.
Also this can help
Clear Cache Files from the phone's System Partition Section > https://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-clear-the-cache-on-my-device/ You may need to insert your earphones or hook upto a powered On Laptop or use a Tv's USB Port or a usb-c to usb-c phone to phone set up to access the Clear Partition Section. This may help with lag or stutters as this clears the phone of old/unused or broken cache files.There is also a Repair Apps option in the Menu System too { Possibly excluding the s²⁴ Series of phone's }
You probably won't be able to return the phone as the cooling off period maybe over. Check the Networks terms and conditions.

I have the same problem on s23 Ultra. Samsung is doing it on purpose to buy a new phone. This is my last Samsung
