Issue with screen protector and fingerprint

Hello everyone. I recently changed my screen protector due to the old one being broken (on my Samsung Galaxy s23 plus) and since then my fingerprint isn't recognized. Because of that I tried to remove my old fingerprint multiple times from the settings of the phone to add a new one but I can't access the fingerprint settings without a fingerprint and I don't get an option to use my PIN to access them (the fingerprint settings) and I am stuck without a fingerprint. Is there any way around this? Help would be appreciated.

Increase touch sensitivity
And if not
Remove screen protector

I have increased the touch sensitivity and it hasn't done much for me. I hoped to avoid removing the screen protector that's why I made this post. Thank you.

By any chance do you have "identity check" enabled in the theft protection part of your phone?

That's what comes to mind when you say you can't remove fingerprints and don't get an option for your pin.

As normally all you need is the pin. A fingerprint popup should only appear if that anti theft feature is on

Disable Identity check. Wait for an hour (I think) . Then you will be able to change/ remove fingerprint

Issue with that, you get a fingerprint popup before and after the 1 hour starts.

Only way past it is physically being at the location set as a safe space, so the fingerprint turns off

I managed to use my Samsung account to start the security delay. Hopefully it will let me turn off theft protection.
