Is Smart Switch able to transfer .apk installed Apps to the new phone together with its settings?

Hi, is Smart Switch able to transfer .apk installed apps (ie. Apps not installed from Google Play store and not from Galaxy store) to the new phone together with its settings?

I want to move from a Galaxy s20 to a new Galaxy S23 phone. Regards

It will transfer those apps but not their app data

Is there a way to move these apps data manually? (these apps do not have an export/import settings feature)

You'd have to check inside the individual apps @shizz 

As these type of sourced apps are not vetted by The Playstore it's the probable reason why they don't have the full features of a vetted app or the creator of the app does not have full access to add such a feature.

Maybe a Google Search may yield some assistance. 

Personally I prefer not to use apps sourced via apk files due to possible issues so haven't been able to test out if the saved data is restored.
