Hello everyone. Just bought a Galaxy 23 from a private seller. Got it registered on the Samsung website using a serial number. However, it doesn't recognize non of the IMEI numbers.  Is there anything to worry about? Thanks.

Without wishing to concern you, worth checking that the device hasn't been reported lost / stolen / insurance claim and thus had the IMEI blocked.

There are IMEI checking websites that are free to use that can confirm that for you.

Try www.imei.info and use the free option to check

Can you post the service provider software version? You can fund this in settings, about phone, software information. On the same page, build number would be helpful.

Generally, this means the purchased product is from another country. If you receive the following message:

"Product SKU or ID not valid or known in this country," it means the product is an import (e.g., from Vietnam, Korea, etc.). I encountered this issue with a Samsung Galaxy A54 from a local mobile dealer and recently with a third-party store on Amazon. I returned the item to Amazon. My guess is that people are buying these products cheaply and making significant profits.

The only reliable way to determine if it's a UK model, despite what is printed on the back of the unit, is to check with Samsung Care by entering your product serial number or IMEI.
