I'm using the base s23 because the ultra is so bad I can't even use it but the WiFi will turn off and leave it unusable and I'm wondering if there's a way to fix it. I have tried resetting network settings and no that doesn't do anything

By resetting network settings, do you mean getting your phone to forget your WIFI network before reconnecting to it?. My S23 Ultra was having WIFI issues before I got it to forget my network before connecting to it again. I also reset my router just to be sure, simply by switching it off and on again. Finally, I rebooted my device to be extra sure.

No, I actually reset the network settings. It's starting to happen on the base s23 too. I am 100% changing brands

@Rio3505  A few other suggestions:

Go to Settings- Connections - Wi-Fi - Tap the cog symbol to the right of your router - Forget . This is the bottom right on the list. Toggle your Wi-Fi off and on again - Select your router from the list of available connections, and run through all the connection steps.

Thereafter go to Settings - Connections - Wi-Fi - Tap the cog next to your router on my- view More.  Now select the MAC Address Type and set this to Phone MAC. If the issue persists, I would suggest pressing the Volume Down and Power buttons together for around 10 seconds until the phone restarts, the reason being that this will refresh the software and address any issues that might be causing problems. An idea also to reboot the router /device as already mentioned.
