Home Screen Widgets Crashing - S23 ULTRA

I've been having this issue for months now that randomly my homescreen widgets just crash and/or load up. E.g. the calendar will not change dates until I remove and re-add the widget. Spotify widget won't change songs until I remove and re-add the widget. And so on. 

I've done every form of resetting and followed all advise given online. I'm really frustrated now as I have a top spec phone but small things like this are very annoying.

After reseting. You should not recover your settings and Apps. That's the rule of thumb.

You could just try resetting all settings now and give that a try.

I used the pc app to recover files and apps after resetting as it was easier. Are you saying to start from scratch after resetting and don't use back ups?

Yeah as a rule of thumb. Never recover apps and settings as they seem to mess up after updates etc.
Rest.you can recover.

Apps reinstall as and when needed and also settings you set up as new .

Photos , messages, contacts etc can be recovered.

I've had the same issue, but think I've found a temporary fix.

Do you have a theme installed? If so, go back to the default theme. I did that, and my widgets stopped freezing.

I do have a theme installed but paying so much for a phone shouldn't mean I am limited to the generic theme.

I haven't even factory reset my phone yet as suggested above as it will take me ages to redownload everything
