Google photos issue

When you review 'out of sync changes' after you go back a page (via gestures or the back arrow in the top left of the app) this mess of an image is displayed (see image) 

Anyone else experiencing this?

It definitely didn't do this on my Pixel 6 Pro and I don't think it used to do it on my S23 before android 14 dropped.

Nope. I do use the web Google Photos to delete pics. The phone syncs these changes but it's never been an issue before. It's like it's trying to show two pages at once, split into a single image.
