Try long holding down on the app and tap on the update portion.
You could also try Settings > Apps > Choose Galaxy Store > Storage > Clear Cache > Clear Data.
Daily Driver > Samsung Galaxy s²⁵ Ultra 512Gb ~ Titanium Black.

I've been on to the Galaxy people and they are aware of the problem. A helpful guy named Bryan talked me through various workarounds but none of them did !! It's now over to the Samsung boffins to sort this for us.
