Font kerning is inconsistent in app drawer.
Apps with longer names have the letters squashed together and look awful.
Also, there is insufficient distance between options on some pop up menus, like 'Cancel & Update'
Changing to different fonts doesn't help. This is a system level issue that squashes long app descriptions closer together.
It would be very interesting to see if other languages also have this issue. Anyone want to check?
I have sent a report to Samsung about these, but if anyone else is annoyed by this (or any other instances) then please report this to them.
Graphic design is important, especially on a UI and Samsung either didn't employ any designers, or the ones they used were not very good.
Whilst hese niggles may seem insignificant to some, they go against any design philosophy, and from a company as large and reputable as Samsung, they're an embarrassment and it's just so unprofessional.
If Apple were doing this, we'd all be giving them a hard time about it.
