Since the last update and android update my fingerprint scanner is not working

Have you tried removing and adding your fingerprints again?

Yes and it can't read my fingerprint when I try and add a new one

Guessing you've tried a reboot.

Try clearing the cache partition and cleaning your screen.

You could also try running diagnostics in the support section of this app

Delete all finger prints- then Attempt a soft reboot- hold volume down and power button until phone turns off- Then re add fingers.

*it may he helpful to turn on Touch sensitivity

As mentioned run diagnostic via Samsung members app. Is screen protector on? If yes remove it and test without it
