Biometric login for apps not working

I used to login to a number of apps e.g. banking or lottery, using biometrics (fingerprint). Since update to UI 8 this option has disappeared. I have rescanned my fingerprints. No help. Is there something else I need to setup? I have looked inside the relevant apps and I could not find how to turn on biometric login. Please help.

In the banking app is the biometric option selected? Toggle it on and off.
Wipe phone cache partition
• Power off the device.
• a USB-C cable to a PC or another device.
• Hold Volume Up + Side Button until Recovery Menu appears.
• Select Wipe cache partition/ Confirm Reboot system.

Thanks for your suggestion but no joy. Still no biometric option.

Success. I keep some apps in my Secure Folder. I had to re-register my fingerprints inside the secure folder. Thanks.
