How to disable fingerprint when connecting to PC via USB?

It's really annoying - I unlock my phone, connect a USB to transfer files, and have to unlock it again??

I really don't understand what it's all about. How is this more secure?

Previously, you could also preselect the USB connection mode - where did that go?

It's now set to charge as default. A notification then appears, on connection, where it can be changed

Hi @Sta1da If desired you could also set a Default via Developer Options. Developer Options-Default USB Configuration, Transferring Files.
If Developer options not set up Go to Settings-About Phone and tap Build Number 7 times. Will need to enter password ,Pin or Pattern at this point.
