I have had it with this phone, what a pile of garbage, tried 3 different screen protectors and none will work with the fingerprint scanner, what ***** decided we needed one under the screen in the first place!!!!!
Yes i suppose I could fit a plastic one instead of a tempered glass protector by WTF should I this is supposed to be the top android phone available it should work with anything, this costs £1500 it should have a fingerprint reader that matches that price tag, its £300 or so to fix a broken screen so obviously most people will want to fit the best screen protector available, why sell top of the range phone that cannot use top of the range screen protector. The Samsung approved one is just the cheapest plastic thing that offers little or no protection. Even without a screen protector the reader only works about 50% of the time, its not good enough. This is going back, I will stick with my note 9, its been faultless, out of date it may be but at least it works, every time.
S23 Ultra over priced garbage.

@Members_qGeb6PX I've used Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protectors for a number of years as I've found them best for fitting to phone's with curved edges and they do work better with the fingerprint scanners.
A tip I picked up a while ago was after the first curing with the UV light is to gently press down where the fingerprint scanner is and then 2nd cure using the light.
Recently I've just fitted the Samsung Tpu screen protector and in all honesty it's great and does not feel like Tpu. It works 100% with the scanner. They are not available via the UK Samsung Shop Site anymore so I used mobilefun instead.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Hi,
I use this one from Amazon and it's works perfectly with the finger print and S pen.
You need to check tho , once you open the box as sometimes shop had sent screen protector with faulty not all of them has sticker on. You can contact them and ask for changed if that is a case. Otherwise , works well. I don't even need to re register my fingers print!!

Hi.I have just bought the S23 & have had the same issues re buying a Tempered Glass Screen Protector which wouldn’t recognise Fingerprint or Face Recognition. What a waste of money.I have just had an online chat with Samsung who have recommended purchasing their own on their website (surprise surprise). These are £17 BUT they have bad reviews!!! I don’t want to keep spending money on something that won’t work but I would like to protect my new phone!!!Any comments guys would be appreciated. At the moment I have bought just the normal thin screen protectors for the time being. Many thanks.Larry.
