Fingerprint error

I have put a screen protector on my phone and I have failed to access any applications that require the fingerprint as a sign in option.

What can I do? Please advise. Thank you.

Simply? The obvious is to replace the screen protector which one which allows fingerprint access. I got a gel protector and it works a treat.

Before you spend more money though, I would recommend deleting your current fingerprints and try setting up a new one and seeing if that works first. 👍

Can't get my fingerprint recognised,keeps telling me to wipe lens and wait for % update to process and nothing happens.i expect better in England for older users!

Which screen protector are you using @kyambmike  ?

Sometimes after a screen protector is added then one has to erase any pre set up fingerprints and then make new ones as mentioned by @Piper123  👍

There's also a setting in the display section to increase sensatativity. 

The screen protectors i use are the Spigen Ez Fit Glass Screen Protector and Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protectors which have no negative impact on using the fingerprint Biometrics.

If this is a new phone which won't allow you to set up the fingerprints Biometrics then I'd suggest to o ask the merchant i.e the place that supplied the ph
