Hello @Aditya93ya and Welcome to the Samsung Community Forum.

This is the Forum area for UK and Eu members.

You may find it beneficial to submit a post in your own regions section too.

Unfortunately this is just one of the problems a person can face when importing a phone from one country to another @Aditya93ya

Do check in Settings and Connections under Mobile Networks that the 5G option is chosen.

Also speak with your network's customer services to check 5G is available on your plan, you have a 5G enabled Sim Card, and that 5G is readily available where you are.

Your phone should have all the bands and frequencies to allow connection so please double check what your network uses.

However even if they all match up there can be issues sometimes.

I assume the phone does connect to 4G+ ,4G and 3G etc to allow a mobile data connection  🤔

You may just have to let go of using a 5G connection that allows faster downloads of files.

Other problems could be that in your Samsung Members App the Benefits Section is blank.

Samsung Wallet may nkt work however Google Wallet should.

The 24 Month Manufacturer's Warranty is only valid in the country of origin.

Certain features and functions may not be available in models from another region hence the inability to record calls.

Your reliant on the region of origin sending out software updates and security patches.

I had the same experience when importing a Samsung Note²⁰ from Hong Kong into the UK.

5G did not work.

I wish you all the best.

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
I'm here to help. " This is the way. "

Facing issues with your 5G network and call recording on your Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra in India can be challenging, especially when the device was purchased in the U.S. and local service centers are unwilling to assist. Here are some steps and solutions that can help resolve these issues:

### **5G Network Issues**

1. **Check 5G Compatibility and Settings**:
- **Verify Network Bands**:
- U.S. variants of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra may not support all 5G bands used in India. Check the phone's specifications and compare them with the 5G bands used by Indian carriers.
- **Update Software and Carrier Settings**:
- Ensure your phone's software is up to date by going to **Settings > Software update**.
- Update carrier settings by going to **Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators** and select your carrier.
- **Enable 5G Manually**:
- Go to **Settings > Connections > Mobile networks** and ensure **5G/LTE/3G/2G (auto connect)** is selected.

2. **Use a Compatible SIM Card**:
- Ensure you are using a 5G-compatible SIM card from an Indian carrier that supports 5G. Sometimes, replacing the SIM card with one that is explicitly compatible with 5G networks can help.

3. **Test with Different Carriers**:
- If possible, test your phone with a SIM card from another carrier to determine if the issue is with your carrier's 5G compatibility.

4. **Network Reset**:
- Reset network settings by going to **Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings**. This will clear all network settings, including Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, and can help resolve connectivity issues.

5. **Enable Roaming**:
- Sometimes enabling roaming can help with network connectivity, especially if your device is not fully optimized for the local network.
- Go to **Settings > Connections > Mobile networks** and enable **Data roaming**.

6. **Use Preferred Network Types**:
- Go to **Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network mode** and try different options like **LTE/5G Auto** to see if the issue resolves.

7. **Manually Select Network**:
- Sometimes, manually selecting the network can help.
- Go to **Settings > Connections > Mobile networks > Network operators** and select your carrier manually.

### **Call Recording Issues**

1. **Regional Restrictions**:
- Call recording functionality can be restricted based on the region due to legal reasons. Phones bought in the U.S. often have this feature disabled or restricted.

2. **Use Third-Party Apps**:
- In regions where call recording is legal, you can use third-party apps like **ACR** or **Cube Call Recorder**. However, these apps might have limitations or require specific permissions.
- Install and configure the app according to the instructions to ensure it works with your device.

3. **Enable Call Recording via Samsung Dialer**:
- If your phone's firmware allows, you might find the option to record calls in the Samsung dialer.
- Open the **Phone app**, tap the **three dots**, go to **Settings**, and look for **Call recording**. Enable it if available.

4. **Use Custom ROMs or Firmware**:
- For advanced users, installing a custom ROM or firmware that supports call recording can be an option. However, this requires technical knowledge and can void warranties.
- Research thoroughly and proceed with caution if you choose this route.

5. **Use Cloud Services**:
- Some call recording apps offer cloud services that bypass local restrictions. Look for apps that provide this feature and comply with legal requirements.

6. **Contact Carrier for Support**:
- Some carriers offer call recording services. Contact your carrier to see if they offer such a service and how to enable it.

### **General Tips**

1. **Seek Help from Third-Party Service Centers**:
- If Samsung service centers in India won't service your phone, try third-party service centers that specialize in Samsung devices. They might be able to help
