So I am going to university next year and I will need a new phone, I am currently using the pixel 6 and I have just bought a tab s8 plus

I need to know if the samsung s23 ultra or s24 ultra by that point will last me the 4 years I'm in uni and also can I get samsung care for more than 2 years?

My husband has the 10 and the S21 they both still work. But I am now having the 2 year problem .My phone is in pristine condition. It has never been wet.It is in a case with a screen protector in an additional sticker film scratch protector it is out of box perfect. I have recently made a software update. I am not suggesting the software crashing is because of the update. I have no idea why this is happening. All i can say for sure is that there are screens coming up that say software error it will not connect to the cell network for very long. I brought it to my cellular company replaced the Sim and Reset the network settings.I contacted samsung care today.  Samsung cares Solution to my phone's failure is to buy a new S24. The representative has warned me if I have it fixed.I will be charged. recommended buying a new s24 as my only option. I love samsung I want to believe they will stand by there product. Because if it truly is a small percentage of phone's with this problem why won't they fix my phone? My phone is well taken care of and I bought the highest amount of storage and memory " the most expensive" s22 tablet 8 ultra and watch because I was sure they would last. I have been over the moon in love with all these devices. Having had apple for years I have been consistently surprised and delighted with all of the devices. I'm going to persue more help from samsung I only hope they don't let me down. Stop being so hostel to eachother it helps noone. open ur minds it could be your both right.

I still have my S8+ and it's working absolutely fine, barring a weak battery life (which it's always been from day 1). None of my Samsung devices over the last 8 years have ever exhibited any kind of planned obsolescence as the guy who posted suggests. And I own quite a fair few, S8+, Note 10+ 5G, S20 to S24 Ultras, Tab S7+ and Tab S8 Ultra.
