I bought my S23 almost two years ago and had no issues until I updated the software yesterday. A green line suddenly appeared on the screen. I have no idea what to do. Will Samsung offer a replacement or release a software update to fix this issue?

Hi! Welcome to the Samsung Members community.

Go to Settings > Security and privacy > turn off Auto Blocker.

Then go to your phone and dial *#0*#.

This should open a menu; at the top are colored bricks. Does the line remain? If not, its a software issue- if it does- its a hardware issue

Attempt a soft reboot- holding power and volume down. If the line still remains- may be time to contact customer support for a repair

What about a UAE model. Will the repair be free there?

3 x S22 (Mom's, wife's and sister's mobile).

All purchased in Dubai...got the green line after the One UI 7 update within 2 days. None of their phones ever fell down. Always been used with tough case and Shatterproof display protection sticker from Mobile Outfitters.

Samsung UAE won't accept it is due to software update but says the phone must have already had a problem that got highlighted because of the update.

We have more than 20 Samsung devices at home (TV, Home theatre, fridge, ear pods, watch, tablet etc). Been a loyal Samsung user since Galaxy S2. Every electronic product in our home is from Samsung.

No more Samsung. I am done.

We spend so much to get these premium devices and they must last at least 5 years. Having a problem in 2 years and then we are forced to accept blame is not ok.
