Hello everyone,

I broke a screen on my Samsung s23 Ultra phone and I had to let it replace.

After the replacement the new screen is not reaching the edges.

Has anyone had similar experience?

Thanks.

Was it a genuine Samsung approved vendor or a random phone shop?

Hi @Patrik 931 and warm welcome 👋

This looks like a cheap quality screen fitted in, was it 3rd party repairs shop not authorised? As this common practice for not authorised repair shops to put cheap screens to save money and charge premium.

Given the rounded edges to the display area my guess is that's not a genuine Samsung display

As others are saying, my guess is that's not a real Samsung display. You probs went to a phone repair shop who used a cheap screen instead of visiting a Samsung store or authorised repair shop

Was the work carried out by an official Samsung Service Centre @Patrik 931  🤔

The advice I offer is my own and does not represent Samsung’s position.
