Colourful YouTube loading screen?!

Does anyone else's YT app have a delay, albeit colourful, when loading in at the moment?!

Sometimes happens with my S22ultra even throu I have app updates all the time for it.

Yes, although mine is typically just a flat grey. It's colourful due to your phones theme settings I imagine.

I have that but also watching videos it goes green & the video messes up horribly .. When the app gets updated says not provided my developer which is stupid imo I like to know what's getting added or fixed

I don't think it's that...this is just the loading screen but had coincided with taking a bit longer to load than previously

Funny enough it's not happening on my Samsung device but it is happening on my oneplus 10 Pro device, its definitely a YouTube issue.

Hi, @GusB. I've had a look into this and can confirm that this phenomenon comes from a changed UX concept of the YouTube app, which involves applying various colour screens when loading up. This is a normal and expected behaviour of the new UX concept implemented by Google on its YouTube app.
