Cannot use keypad during calls to select call centre options

This is causing me issues.....

During a call (inbound or outbound) the keypad does not recognise/accept me pressing the numbers...

EG the automated voice at a call centre says "press 1 to select this option" - I press 1 and nothing happens

Using what dialer? Did restart the phone? Is the keypad showing while on the call?

Few thing you can try

Restart your phone

Clear phone apps cache in settings > apps > phone > storage > clear cache

Go to settings > sounds and vibration > system vibration > toggle on "touch interactions" and "dialing keypad" do same but go to system sound and toggle both options if they are both on try turn it off and see if that works

When in the call swipe down to access quick settings panel then come back to call and see if works that way

When in the call before entering any number press * and then enter number

See if any of these options help.
