Can't see or open .pdf file from email

Hi - On my s23 ultra I cannot see a .pdf file I received in an email. When I download it to my device I cannot find it. But it gives me notification of downloaded file. When I try to open it I get error message "You don't have an app that can open this type of file". I have other .pdf files on my mobile and I can see and open them but not this one. Anyone know how to resolve this issue 🤔 please?

Hi. I experienced the same issue recently on my S20FE when it hadn't happened previously in the 2 years since I bought the phone, especially when getting tix for concerts or sporting events. I accidentally found a solution by tapping the 3 vertical dots on the right hand end of the attachment at top of email

 

. This gave me the option of opening the PDF using Microsoft office OR using the device PDF viewer. I tapped the device PDF viewer option and the PDFs opened straight away. Strange but true. Hope that helps.

Cant download to files

Hi, I have the s24 ultra, and I've worked out how to get mine to open email attachments.
Mine was trying yo use boarding pass to open it. [ I don't know how. User error probably). Anyway, I uninstalled samsung wallet, tried the email, and it opened. I've then reinstalled samsung wallet, and my email still opens. 😁
I think I must have clicked always use xyz when it gives you the choices. So now I'm sticking to just once and word lol
I'm so happy I managed to sort it out
