Can't remove Old phone from Google Find my phone πŸ“±?

I've selected delete and erase on an old Imo Phone and it worked fine. I've already reset my Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G to sell to CEX tomorrow but even so it still shows on my List of Phones and I've tried Re signing in with my Google and also trying the Erase again.

It Erases the phone to Factory Reset both ways but stays on my list? HELP ANYONE PLEASE? Getting annoying.

Best wishes

Log in to your Google account then, goto ACCOUNT SECURITY. Click on DEVICES AND ACTIVITY. Identify which devices you want to remove, using the VIEW ACTIVITY option. You should be presented with a full list of devices associated with your account - click on the device(s) that you want to disassociate from your account, and the box will expand to offer a REMOVE button. Click that, and it should resolve your issue.

On your old phone -- did you delete your google account and samsung account from the following sub menu  settings/account and backup/manage accounts. You have to do this while the device is still online. If you don't the device is still locked to your goggle and samsung account -- this is feature of factory reset protection and is used to protect against a stolen phone  being reset.

I have noticed in the past , even though I have  removed the accounts  from the old phone and then finished with a factory reset - it still showed up in my google account only to find several days later it had disappeared. This might be what you are seeing.
