Hello,
I have a weird and frustrating problem on my S23.
When someone sends me a voice note on whatsapp, if I press "play" and put the phone next to my ear the volume is extremely low and I barely understand anything.
Even if I put earphones, I have to put the sound to the max to hear almost normally. But then I cant do anything else because max volume is too high for anything else.
When the phone is not next to my ear the volume is fine though.
I only have this problem on whatsapp. On telegram and signal its not great but its significantly better. Whatsapp is unusable.
What I tried and didn't work:
1. Putting all different types of volumes to the max
2. Clear whatsapp cache, force closing it
Anyone has an idea?

It might be also worth going to a WhatsApp forum to see if there is any relevant threads on this @Members_1DMFQkm
You can run the diagnostic tool found in your Samsung Members App, but I assume the volume and speakers are fine for everything else such as such as calls etc ?
You could delete the app from your phone and MyLibrary in the Playstore and then redownload the app and double check all the relevant settings in the app.
If I can be of any further help then please don't hesitate to ask. 😎
