Camera issue... Again 😀

Hi guys. Does anyone know why when I take a 200mp photo on my s23 ultra it only shows 124mp when info is selected. I was in Felixstowe yesterday and took what I thought were 200mp but I've just clicked th "i" icon at the bottom and there all 124mp. Not very camera savi at all. Still experimenting. Any ideas guys? Thank you 😊

That is simply because you only get the full 200Mp in 4:3 aspect ration Mark. If you are only getting 124Mp then that tells me you have selected 200 Mp when photographing in full screen mode. It is an easy mistake to make to be honest, and it puzzled me for a while when it happened to me. Try taking a 200Mp shot in 4:3 aspect ratio and you will see it register as a full 200Mp image in it's description.👍

Ah... thank you for that mate. I never checked that. That's a much appreciated explanation. I don't really know how to use this camera tbh. I didn't check the ratio. Yes I was taking pics in full screen mode mate. Thank you very much for a swift response. I'm going to try again now. It's not that it's complicated lol. More the fact I'm as daft as a brush. Hi again buddy. I tried what you said. Let me send a screenshot i have these optionsif i can send them. Im bloody useless. . I don't see the one you mentioned. I have before lol. The top buddy. It does ,however now take 200mp but still unsure. Thanks in advance mate 👍

Hey? Aren't they big files? This is an awesome phone with a heap of capabilities. That's why I can't get my head around it 😆😆😆
