Bluetooth Audio Quality/ EQ Settings after 6.1(.1) update

Hi all, I noticed the Bluetooth audio output sounded off after the latest update from Samsung for the S23 Ultra. Looking through the sound settings, I see that Samsung have changed the EQ settings, something that wasn't broken to begin with.

The equaliser setting seems to be limited and all audio profiles sound very tinny with little to no bass. Movie mode on the Dolby Atmos has an unacceptable reverb, and the Music mode is equally as bad.

Before the update the audio was clear and punchy. I can't see how more people aren't posting about this. I've only seen a handful of others with the same issue. I feel like the issue has been overshadowed by the camera bug.

I switch between the Galaxy Buds Plus and Galaxy Buds Pro2 for anyone in the same boat.

Anyone else experience this issue? If so, please report bug in the Members app

Same here. Its been couple of weeks since facing this annoying issue. I have one jbl wireless earbuds and Sony wireless headphone. Both having same issue. Audio quality is extremely low and almost no bass. Long press on Bluetooth icon, then go to settings of connected device, disbale and enabling calls, audio option. Sometimes this works for me. But not always. Wired headphones or earphones works perfectly without any issues. Samsung should consider fixing this issue asap. What is the purpose of buying flagship models if we can't even do basic things lik listening music?

Not sure if I can tell because I never really use the speakers for anything serious. They sound ok to me I guess.
