Auto brightness off, Facebook appears to have it in

I have recently just purchased a s23+ with auto adaptive brightness ect off havent chbaged any other settings, I have noticed especially on facebook that when i am scrolling the videos some brighten up and some remain the same screen brightness, Does any one have a fix for this?

See if video brightness is enabled under settings / advanced

I have checked there is no option to turn it on/off this is how the setting is on the phone1707907362310.jpg

This could be for videos/pics that are taken as HDR (High Dynamic Range). Unfortunately, there is no feature ATM to switch this off. Same on Instagram etc

Thank you very much is there any talks of this being a feature in the future? Little thibgs like this can get annoying over time essentially wheb you want to keep it at the same brightness

People have been complaining about it for months, so I'm not really sure. Some people say that turning on battery saver while browsing Facebook stops the screen from going brighter when viewing hdr content

How annoying. I have dark mode turned on. Not a complete fix but it helps

I tried everything and it still rises up the brightness. My eyes are hurting as I usually use only 20% of brightness.
