Hello all, just wondering if anyone else has had this happen. On my galaxy s23, a lot of the time when unlocking the phone using the fingerprint, upon unlocking, an app on the phone will automatically open. It's always an app that happens to be on the main screen, so it's as if my thumb is touching the app from having used the fingerprint to unlock the phone, but it's not. Sometimes it's an app that's on the main screen, but my thumb wasn't even close to. Anyone else have this happen? Anyone have a solution? Thanks so much in advance!

I got a software update today and was hoping that would fix this issue but it's still happening. 😡

January update for S23+ seems to have fixed it. I'll keep you posted.

No, i was wrong. After the january android 14, s23+ update, the issue seems more random. Home screen apps (camera app) still open on their own after screen unlocking.

I have had this issue for about a month as well on my S21. Drains about 3 percent on my car daily as it keeps opening its app. It's so infuriating.

Same problem on S21 after the Android 14 update...

Hello, I got same kind of issue with my A33.
Often, when I unlock my phone I reach different apps. Not always the same, not always the more used by me and not always a app with shortcut on the first tab.
Looks having that since 1 or 2 month after upgrade on Samsung One UI 6

Same issue on brand new Samsung S24 ultra, it's annoying.
