Apps not working in Secure folder after OneUI 6 update

Some of the apps are not working in Secure folder after I updated to OneUI 6. Chrome, Gmail and Protonmail crashes right after I open them.

Gmail says that the root cause is Android system webview and that I should disable it. If I disable it Gmail and Protonmail starts to work but Chrome doesnt open at all.

I wiped cache partition and updated all the apps. Still doesnt work.

I hope this gets fixed soon. I use these apps every day.

Same here . The banking apps are crashing after one ui 6 update in the secure folder .

On rolling back  android web view to old version everything gets sorted

Echoing the same issue - the apparent Android Web View bug prevents Google Prompt from working in the Secure Folder. The prompt opens and immediately closes again.

Try uninstalling the AWV latest update and roll back to a previous version. Worked for me. You can uncheck AWV autoupdate check mark on play store and you're good to go for now.

Yes, I did this and it works. I initially got a message to uninstall Webview updates from trying (and failing) to open Chrome in the Secure Folder.
