App notifications blocked

The DPD shipping app notifications are blocked and the option to re-enable them is greyed out. 

It used to work fine and the app hasn't received an update in months so I'm unsure why this has suddenly stopped working. 

I've cleared cache, data, uninstalled, reinstalled....etc. 

Anyone else facing similar issues?

I have same problem with my banking app. It happened on One UI 5.1.1 android 13 and still here on One UI 6.0 android 14. I'm using S21u

Still it's not fixed and the notifications thing is greyed out. This is bad

I have the same issue on my Banking Sparkasse S Identity App. it refuses to allow the notifications! S23 Android 14 OneUI 6.0

It's the phone not DPD, this is a Samsung issue.

Surely it's an API issue that the app developers need to sort out?

DPD app updated today and now you can enable notifications
