Can anyone please explain what system tracing is as I came across this under app notifications settings this evening and never heard of it before.

Ok so im not a developer so how on earth has it suddenly appeared on my device 😳 and how do I get rid of it 😳

Just ignore it. You probably pressed the "show system apps" button by accident. Your phone has lots of apps that help it operate correctly. Every device has it
