I've just updated mine via Smart Switch. Download it on a Windows pc and on your phone. The Android 14 update was there. I couldn't get the update via the Software Update on the phone.

How would you do that?

Find Samsung Smart Switch on Google on download it on your computer. Then go to the Galaxy store and download Samsung Smart Switch. Connect your phone to your computer, back it up and hopefully, it gives you the option to download the new software update. Let the process run. Then you have One UI 6 and Android 14. It worked flawlessly for me.

Do you need to restore your back up after updating?   BTW, there's a version for Mac as well.

No, you do not need to restore. Everything should be the same as before including apps, folders, contacts etc. Yes, there is a Mac version too! After updating, you have the latest software that everyone seems to be talking about and everything should be intact.

Glad I could help. The question is why isn't this information available from Samsung? I've spent days googling why we haven't received the update but everyone else seems to have, and how to get it. I finally stumbled across this method today and updated my phone earlier on.

Perhaps it really is Samsung's batch release method that's to blame. Vodafone and 3 might be furious that their versions aren't being updated to devices yet with people like me blaming the networks for the delay!
