So atm it only has sbc, aac, aptx, ldac, and the samsung codec. I have sennheiser momentum true wireless 3 earbuds. In order to use high res audio on these earbuds I need the sennheiser app and enable it in the app settings. Then I need to switch the bluetooth codec to aptx adaptive and select 24bit in the bitrate menu, and 96khz in the sample rate menu. The problem is that samsung doesn't include this codec or any other HD codec except sonys ldac and samsungs own codec for their galaxy buds pro 2 earbuds. I am disappointed with my s23 ultra being a flagship phone that can't play high resolution audio on my earbuds even tho my previous phone; oneplus 8 pro has more codecs and yes I can play hd audio fine on that device. Also if I go into developer options on my s23 ultra I see hd audio is enabled, codec is set to aptx, but when I click the menu of bitrate I can't change the setting. It's always at 16bit, and same goes for sample rate, its always at 44.1khz and I can't change it. Any help? Also samsung has to add more codecs cuz it's just rediculous to not include more. Only reason I can think of is so they can sell more galaxy buds that can actually use high res audio with this phone

Hi @HaroonB, good afternoon.
Via the Samsung Members-app you can also send in an error report to my colleagues of the R&D department. They can investigate this and when this can be resolved by an update this will be rolled out as soon as possible 😇
Kind regards,
Martijn
