When moving photos from gallery to an album, they aren't deleting off gallery

Did anyone else experience this after the latest update? I used to be able to move pictures to an album so that the recent /gallery folder would be tidy and clear but now I have got all the pictures back in the gallery (they don't get deleted anymore when moved).

Is there anything in settings to change this back how it was last week? (Samsung s22plus)

@Tan27: When you're in the Gallery app > Albums > Camera, and you select an image, tap the 3 dots in the bottom right. From here, select Move to album, select the relevant album, and the image will be moved to that album, and removed from the Camera album.

I can't find my hide album ? 😤 😡 where they are ? This was happen after the last update

@zsxxx: If you head to the Gallery app > Tap the 3 lines in the bottom right > Settings > Select albums to show, and toggle this option off, then the Hide/Unhide albums option will be visible once again via the 3 dots in the top right of the Albums tab.

This is happening yo me. Some albums I kept are missing ,luckily the pictures are there. Nut now having to go through them all again and when I move to album they still fo not delete! I had special albums ready to print of my husband who died last year. Now all mixed up

I have the same issue, I cannot delete photos from one of the albums, it has 10000 photos! How can I solve this problem please?

Did anyone ever find a solution to this . I'm having the same issue . I've moved a bunch of stuff to my Dropbox just to help clear it out . But it's super inconvenient and annoying .

No the photos keep coming back. It does allow you to remove phones from one album to another then delete from that album, but then the deleted photos will all coming back in a couple of hours, what a nightmare 🥹

Everytime I trash a photo and look for it in the trash it says the trash is empty
